Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa offers a variety of weekly Nova Scotia tours. If you don’t see the tour you are looking for or would like to participate in a tour at a different time, we can make that happen! Off-Site Tours and Events
This is a game of high-tech hide and seek. Participants use a GPS to hunt for containers called geocaches. Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world and on all seven continents. Our staff will be pleased to assist you with GPS instruction and then send you off to geocache on a self-guided adventure.
Cost: $30.00 rental of one GPS unit. Inquire about a picnic lunch at an additional charge.
From Vines to Wines Tour!
Take a guided tour of two unique wineries located in the picturesque Bear River, the Village on stilts. Tour includes guide and wine tasting at both wineries.
Cost: $49.00 per person*
*Tour rates are based on a maximum of six people. Private tours can also be arranged at an additional cost. Independent tours available as well. Picnic lunches available upon request for an additional cost.
The Island Experience
Enjoy of full day of experiencing Digby Neck and the islands. Start off with a visit to Gulliver’s Cove for a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy and view the windmills that make Nova Scotia a little more green. Stop at the beautiful Sandy Cove Beach and enjoy a stroll along this beautiful red sandy expanse and learn about the Mystery Man of Sandy Cove! You will then embark on the ferry to Long Island. You will pause for a leisurely lunch at Central Grove Picnic Park overlooking the Bay of Fundy- you might luck out and spot a whale or two. After lunch, catch the next ferry to Brier Island to learn about the town and its history. Visit the quaint museum and gift shop featuring fascinating facts of fisheries past and locally made unique crafts then make your way to the lighthouse trail for a hike along the water’s edge. You might even spot resident seals slumbering on the rocks!

Vines to Wine & Flora Tour
Take a guided winery and vineyard tour of two unique wineries located in picturesque Bear River, the Tidal Village on Stilts. Then stop and smell the roses as you escape from the hectic pace of everyday life with a visit to the Annapolis Historic Gardens showcasing gardening methods, designs and materials representing more than 400 years of local history. Tour includes guide and wine tasting at both wineries.
Cost is $55 per person*

Explore the Acadian Shore
Take the day to explore the Acadian Shore! Visit Gilberts Cove lighthouse which was built in 1904, explore the museum, gift shop and tea house, visit the stone church of St Bernard, one of the largest granite churches in Nova Scotia, then off to St. Mary’s Church at Church Point, the largest and tallest wooden structure in North America. You’ll also get to explore Smuggler’s Cove, a sandy inlet that has a history of adventure and contraband with its ocean carved cave and a great spot for a picnic lunch. Finish off your day at the new Rendez-vous de la Baie interpretive centre with a guided tour learning the history of the Acadian culture and taste test a traditional dish of the Acadians.
