The primary responsibilities of The Registered Massage Therapist are to perform all services and treatments in a professional, proficient and timely fashion keeping in mind the needs of the guests and the atmosphere of the Spa, greet each guest in a pleasing manner, help them prepare for their service, practice client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
You will require the ability to perform massage therapy manually with hands, stones, the hydrotherm system, hot towels and products, perform body treatments upon request, use proper body mechanics throughout the massage to eliminate the chances of undue fatigue or injury as taught in school, ensuring the clients and therapists boundaries and comfort levels are maintained, never working beyond the guests pain tolerance, turning over the room and maintaining a clean and safe environment, be available for AVEDA specific training prior to resort opening, give tours of the Spa and help other employees and guests whenever possible. Perform other duties as required.
Employees will be expected to have knowledge of daily and upcoming resort events and functions; to work as a team member and communicate well with all Spa and resort staff
