The primary responsibilities of the Front Shop Attendant are the booking of tee times and golf cart reservations, answering guest’s questions about the golf course and the surrounding area, answering telephones, working with a POS system, handling of monetary transactions and balancing transactions at the end of shift.
You will require the ability to ensure a seamless operation between the golf members as well as the Resort, promote and sell pro shop merchandise, aid in receiving, pricing and presentation of merchandise, conduct general cleaning and up keep of the pro shop by vacuuming, sweeping ramps and keeping the shop organized. Duties may also include acting as Golf Course Marshall, Starter, Back Shop Attendant and helping out with the 19th hole in securing ice and extra product.
Employees will be expected to have knowledge of daily and upcoming resort events and functions; to work as a team member and communicate well with all Golf Course and resort staff.
