Halifax, NS, July 7, 2006 – People in Eastern Canada and the United States will now be able to get a glimpse of Nova Scotia’s key resorts without leaving their home. A 53 foot transport truck sporting photos of Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa and Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa, will be traveling around the Eastern United States and Canada over the next two years.
"As the tourist season kicks into full swing, Nova Scotia Signature Resorts are poised for a great season,” said Guido Kerpel, Regional Vice President, New Castle Hotels and Resorts. “This new and exciting initiative puts us front and centre in the faces of potential visitors in key geographic markets. These areas are often hard to impact effectively, and at reasonable costs."
Dave Miller, Manager, Personnel and Safety with Eassons Transport Ltd., is excited about teaming up with Nova Scotia Signature Resorts. "This is a great opportunity for us to partner with two first class resorts to promote their products in key destinations - in a cutting edge manner,” said Miller. “Everyone wins when we have more visitors coming to Nova Scotia."
