In partnership with Hike Nova Scotia, Digby Pines proudly hosts this special “Hike-Eat-Stay” weekend getaway. Come hike with us as we explore the nearby North Mountain trails at Van Tassel Lake with two experienced guides. You’ll build up an appetite for a lovely meal designed by Chef Dale Nichols back at the Digby Pines and a soothing rest in one of its comfortable guest rooms. This adventure is available with or without accommodation.

This adventure is happening September 28, 2018 at Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa.

The Hike: Van Tassel Lake

Connect with nature on The Van Tassel Lake Trails. This hike is situated on 550 acres of woodlands. This beautiful trail is owned by the Town of Digby and offers potential both from a trails perspective and renewable energy sources.

The Van Tassel Lake Trails includes 4 km of hiking trails, with a 2.8 km of single track hiking trail around the lake. The trail system also includes a 1 km spur leading to a look off with a view of the beautiful surroundings.
